Therapist Trainer:
Trainer of therapists on IACP accredited Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Oakdene Counselling Centre). Special areas of teaching interests include mental health, trauma and psychopathology. Additionally, providing consultation and training for health care professionals in Romania for a number of years. Facilitator of Child Parent relationship training (CPRT, Bratton & Landreth) a ten week training programme for parents, designed in helping deepen their relationships with their children. Trained in administering CAI, Child Attachment Interview ( Anna Freud Centre, London) internationally recognised as a valid and reliable measure of attachment in children. Currently training in Mentalization Based Therapy and its applications with Professors Peter Fonagy and Antony Bateman, Anna Freud Centre in London. Future trainings include, Mentalized Based Therapy for Adolescents (MBT-A) and administering and rating the Parent Development interview (PDI).

Therapeutic Services:
Providing individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Adoption sensitive therapy for the members of the adoption triad birth mothers, adoptees and adopters. Early intervention is a key professional philosophy and as such, empowering parents in their development through supportive individual and group sessions is at the core of infant attunement and under five services.

Consultations:
Individual and group clinical supervision and professional training is provided to psychologists, therapists, teachers, nurses, social workers and all those working in the helping professions. Consultation and training of professional teams working in the mental health services is provided.

Professional Experience:
Fifteen years in private practice based northeast with specialist interest in the impact of attachment trauma throughout the life span. Established assessment protocols for children service in Dundalk Counselling Centre 2008-2012. Facilitated meditation /visualisation service for the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre 2005-2008.  Trainer of therapists with the Oakdene Counselling Centre 2006-2014. Research interests include attachment trauma and recovery in developing more securely attached children.
